1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lemma IAM ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lemma IAM provides identity and access management services including:

  • User authentication and authorization
  • Permission management (RBAC)
  • Cryptographic credential issuance and verification
  • Access control APIs for customer applications
  • Audit logging and compliance reporting

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your API keys and credentials
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Not use the Service for any illegal purpose

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or malicious code
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Exceed rate limits or attempt to overwhelm our infrastructure
  • Share your API keys with unauthorized parties

5. Pricing and Payment

Free Tier: Sites with fewer than 1,000 monthly active users may use the Service at no cost.

Paid Tiers:

  • Starter (1K-5K MAU): $5/month
  • Growth (5K+ MAU): $0.023 per MAU (1/3 of Auth0 pricing)
  • Enterprise (100K+ MAU): Custom pricing

Payment is processed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees. If payment fails, we may suspend your account after 7 days.

Automatic Upgrades: When your monthly active users exceed your current tier limit, you will be automatically upgraded to the appropriate tier and billed accordingly.

6. Data and Privacy

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. We use your data only to provide the Service.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Ed25519 cryptographic signatures
  • OPRF privacy-preserving revocation
  • Encrypted credential storage
  • Audit logging of all security events

7. Service Availability

Service Level Agreement (SLA):

  • Free Tier: Best effort, no SLA
  • Starter: 99.5% uptime
  • Professional: 99.9% uptime
  • Enterprise: 99.95% uptime (custom SLA available)

We may perform scheduled maintenance with 24 hours notice. Emergency maintenance may be performed without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by Lemma and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited license to use the Service, which does not transfer any ownership rights.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will cease immediately
  • We will delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it
  • You remain responsible for any charges incurred before termination

10. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lemma shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Service interruptions or errors
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lemma harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

15. Entire Agreement
